Ironlight Wedding

Lake Oswego Wedding Photographer

The clouds painted the air with the deepest fall colors, and the orange and red leaves fell like confetti. Ironlight, tucked away from the noise of Portland, is an indoor/outdoor wedding venue in Lake Oswego, and it provided the perfect compliment with large windows and contemporary design. Beth and Cory's wedding day transported everyone to a place of wonder and coziness, and these are some images that just made me feel.

Right after they met, Beth and Cory shared a fourteen hour date at Cape Kiwanda, and that's when they knew they were going to spend life's adventure together. Months before his proposal, Cory contacted me with a plan, and he surprised Beth by asking her to allow him to be by her side forever.. in the same place where they had their marathon date. These two are empathetic and well-spoken, and at the same time, they don't take life too seriously. They have a love and friendship between one another that runs deep.

Congrats Beth and Cory! Your story is one that brings hope and joy, and I’m so grateful to have been there with my cameras for both your proposal and your wedding.

Why are these photos out of order? I don’t always put photos in chronological order because, in my mind, it allows them to stand out more individually. It slows the scroll and keeps your mind and your heart guessing as to what will follow.
