Hood River Engagement Session

Hood River Engagement Session / Katie and Jordan

Katie’s laugh makes everyone around her a better person, and Jordan’s kindness brings up genuine conversation with anyone who’s with him. Getting to spend an afternoon with Katie and Jordan was a straight up lovely time, and I honestly felt like I had known them for years. These two have a dynamic that allows them to laugh and joke, but the thing is, they bring anyone around them into that dynamic. Even though it was just the three of us this afternoon (wait, four of us! their pup joined too!), it felt like community. I could immediately tell that Katie and Jordan have huge hearts, and those two hearts together make something so special that you just feel good in their presence.

We met just outside of Hood River for their engagement session. It's a real wonder this place is our playground to explore, run, be a kid again. A short drive down a highway framed by hills, trees, and mist.. boy, aren't we lucky. We explored this area just before sunset— the clouds were heavy and dark, and the cool tones of the sky and water created deep, rich colors. Magical!

Katie and Jordan were married at Postlewaits a year after we did our engagement session (I was there with my cameras!), and now they are awaiting the arrival of their little boy!
